Overview

This role will perform a variety of loan operations and servicing activities supporting residential, consumer and commercial loan portfolios. The Loan Operations Representative will board new loans, process servicing transactions, maintain loan records, facilitate loan sale activities, process escrow-related disbursements including real estate tax payments and assist internal and external customers while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Board residential, consumer and commercial loans onto the Bank’s core processing system.
  • Review loan documentation and system information to ensure accurate loan setup, maintenance and servicing.
  • Process loan servicing transactions, including sold loan activities and required customer notifications.
  • Research payment discrepancies, reapply misapplied payments and process correction transactions as needed.
  • Process escrow-related disbursements, including the payment of real estate taxes, in accordance with servicing requirements and established procedures.
  • Process loan account maintenance requests, including customer information updates, payment arrangements and other servicing-related activities.
  • Respond to inquiries from residential, home equity and commercial loan customers regarding loan accounts and servicing activities.
  • Maintain loan documentation, records and correspondence within document management systems in accordance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Review reports and transaction activity to identify and resolve routine exceptions and data inconsistencies.
  • Assist with audits, examinations and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation and information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of banking, loan operations, loan servicing or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Experience with core banking platforms, such as Fiserv, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of transactions.

The successful candidate will be required to prove on the first day of work that they are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The Bank will not sponsor a candidate for a visa or for work authorization.

 

COMPENSATION:  $47,000 to $67,000
