Overview

Responsible for independently performing a variety of operational and transactional duties related to Deposit Operations including processing transactions, resolving problems, maintaining records, and supporting debit card, ATM and branch operational activities in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and assistance to ATM and debit cardholders for setup, maintenance and ongoing support for their Bank debit card services.
  • Provide operational support to the Deposit Operations Department, including serving as backup for cash proof and other core processing functions, as assigned.
  • Provide support to the branch network and clients related to all aspects of ATM and debit card services, including issue resolution and procedural inquiries.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to branch staff regarding ATM and debit card policies and procedures, bond redemptions, foreign item processing and branch daily deposit processing.
  • Pull, review and follow up on daily system reports to ensure accuracy and timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain reports capturing statistical data reflecting operational and network performance.
  • Work with vendors and outside service providers to ensure operational performance standards and service level expectations are maintained.
  • Process Regulation E claims and disputes for ATM and debit card transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Perform daily debit card maintenance, including account updates, corrections, and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required, preferably in retail banking or banking operations.
  • Familiarity with banking products, deposit operations or card services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be required to prove on the first day of work that they are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The Bank will not sponsor a candidate for a visa or for work authorization.

 

COMPENSATION:  $50,000 to $70,000 annually.
