Overview

Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities management, ensuring all equipment, buildings, and property are maintained in proper working condition.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance activities, ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner within established procedures and guidelines.
  • Support the operation and upkeep of the organization’s physical operations, including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate information regarding maintenance needs; ensure timely response to service requests.
  • Coordinate external services providers and repair work, following established contracts, approvals and processes; support the purchasing of facility fixtures and equipment as necessary.
  • Identify maintenance issues and communicate the need for repairs, upgrades, or additions to facility infrastructure (lighting, heating and ventilating, plumbing and life safety) to the Department for review and direction.
  • Provide input and recommendations related to maintenance practices or efficiency opportunities when requested by the Department.
  • Support capital improvement projects by assisting with coordination, tracking progress and completing assigned tasks.
  • Provide daytoday supervision, task assignment, and coaching for a team of Maintenance Technicians.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
  • Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
  • Knowledge of city and state building codes, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) requirements and Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) laws.
  • Proficiency in the use of repair tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is a full-time onsite role.

Perform routine and typical tasks of an office such as typing, taking notes, reading/reviewing, computer work, filing, copying, answering phones, etc. that may require employee to view, stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch and lift as well as physical labor. Must have ability to use ladders and scaffolds and work at heights and in inclement weather. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

This position requires flexibility and willingness to occasionally travel to other locations or branches, and to be physically present at an assigned location. Work hours are generally during normal business hours but may include evenings and weekends as business needs require.

 

The successful candidate will be required to prove on the first day of work that they are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The Bank will not sponsor a candidate for a visa or for work authorization.

 

COMPENSATION:  $75,000 to $115,000
