Overview

Perform a variety of operations tasks for the Deposit Operations department

Responsibilities

  • Verify and record all 1099 information on Bond Redemption Receipts.
  • Complete daily proof of all teller transactions, ATM’s, Cash Vaults and Cash Recyclers in all branches.
  • Verify and journal all cash shipments.
  • Send out all foreign items for collection and journal foreign item credits.
  • Verify all Bonds sold and manipulate Bond Addenda as needed.
  • Settle General Ledger accounts as necessary.
  • Compile and consolidate information for abandoned property to be escheated yearly by the state of NJ.
  • Research and compile statistics regarding bank accounts, account activity, institution interest costs, online banking activity and ATM/debit card activity monthly.
  • Answer and resolve all savings inquiries from branch personnel as well as bank clients.
  • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing and mailing.

 

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience required.
  • Banking product familiarity experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
  • MS Office proficiency required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
